The UDBHAV Foundation is a vibrant and dynamic not-for-profit seeking to make a difference through innovation and sustainable impact. It is being managed by Shri Chetan Sharma, who was working as chief manager in Oriental Bank of commerce before relinquishing his job and monthly earning of more than rupees 1.1 lakh to dedicate his entire life for community service. The UDBHAV Foundation is committed to ensure access to education for all visually impaired boys and girls of Rajasthan by providing accessible Braille books, scholarships, admissions in public schools according to provisions of RTE act and other timely interventions. It is a Jaipur-based charity dedicated to holistic development of persons with visual disabilities. Since its inception, UDBHAV Foundation has adopted a right-based approach in pursuing the rights of persons with visual impairment in every sphere. our endeavor is to make a difference through short term computer/mobile training, research, counseling, personality development, scholarships and other interventions. Opening-up new horizons of opportunities through advocacy initiatives is also one of our thrust area. Persons with visual impairment who are struggling to cope with trauma specially in later stage of their lives, always get priority in our endeavors. We lay special emphasis on combating loneliness among elderly persons suffering from visual impairment. A self-sustained not-for-profitmaking a difference through technological innovations is core philosophy of UDBHAV Foundation.
